Olivia M. Rice

Olivia Rice successfully manages multiyear projects on behalf of federal and state governments, as well as commercial clients, by coordinating efforts between the client and technical staff, tracking project budget and schedule, and managing related subcontracts. Her current area of research focuses on innovative approaches to building skills necessary for success in the workforce, such as apprenticeships/work-based learning; competency-based education; employability skills development; science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education; and business-led education advocacy. Ms. Rice has over a decade of experience collecting and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data, including conducting site visits, observations, interviews, and focus groups; designing and facilitating conferences, workshops, and training programs; creating marketing and communications plans and materials; and providing technical assistance and strategic advising to clients. She is skilled at forging strong client and partner relationships and building trust in RTI processes and work products.
