A forensic scientist in the Center for Forensic Sciences at RTI International, Katherine Bollinger is a board-certified toxicologist with diplomate status from the American Board of Forensic Toxicology who has participated in and led several research projects funded by the National Institute of Justice. Ms. Bollinger specializes in evaluating new technologies, such as laser diode thermal desorption for use with controlled substances, and she has also identified novel designer-drug metabolites using liquid chromatography quadrupole time-of-flight instrumentation.
