Jenny Ospina Gaitan is an international development professional with experience managing USAID funded projects related to water and sanitation services, biodiversity, and the conservation of natural resources. She currently serves as the Project Coordinator of the USAID Expanding Water and Sanitation project in Zambia, which works to professionalize water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) services, promote accountability for reliable and high-quality WASH services, and enhance the enabling environment for private sector engagement (PSE) in service delivery in Zambia.

Ms. Ospina Gaitan joined RTI in 2018. Since then, she has provided operational support to a wide range of USAID-funded projects, including USAID’s Effective Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Service (EWASH) program in Nigeria, USAID Biodiversity for Resilience in Uganda, USAID Wildlife Asia, USAID PROETCT, and the Guatemala Low Emissions Development Program.

Prior to joining RTI, Ms. Ospina Gaitan worked with Duke University as a Program Assistant for the Duke Center for International Development where she assisted incoming fellows who arrived from international regions with their transition to Durham, NC. Ms. Ospina Gaitan has also worked as bilingual communicator, with English and Spanish.
