Jennifer Gilliam is a research chemist in the Discovery Sciences Division at RTI International. She performs qualitative and quantitative chemical analyses for government and commercial clients and supervises a team of early career chemists involved in the NIH's National Toxicology Program Chemistry Services project. She serves as a lead chemist for projects grounded in chemical characterization, analysis of dosage formulations, and analysis of biological samples from toxicology studies. Ms. Gilliam has expertise in mass spectrometry, liquid chromatography, and gas chromatography. She specializes in formulation and biosample method development, validation, and analysis for complex assays. She has extensive experience with writing reports, methods, and Standard Operating Procedures, conducting work under Good Laboratory Practice (GLPs), and has presented her research at local and national conferences.  

Before joining RTI in 2002, Ms. Gilliam worked as a research assistant, laboratory preparation assistant, and teaching assistant in Elon University's chemistry department.
