Jane Griffin has more than 20 years’ experience in data collection, with particular expertise in the recruitment of states, districts and schools for longitudinal studies. She has developed survey data-collection protocols and procedural manuals and training programs, and has recruited, trained, and supervised institutional contactors and field data collectors. Ms. Griffin has also led data-collection tasks for various educational studies focusing on institutions of higher education.
Prior to joining RTI, Ms. Griffin worked with the Region IV Comprehensive Center and the Eisenhower Math and Science Consortium at SERVE. Through collaborations with other regional technical-assistance providers, she has partnered with national leaders across the United States to study and advance the relationships between professional development and improved teacher and student performance in the areas of reading, mathematics, and science.
