James Isaac is a senior researcher currently serving as the RTI Project Director for the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS). IPEDS is the central source of institution-level data on postsecondary education collected for the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), containing data from more than 6,500 institutions. As Project Director, Mr. Isaac oversees all aspects of the contract, including budget and deliverables, data collection, data processing, data dissemination, expert panels, web systems, and subcontract management.

Mr. Isaac, who joined RTI in 2000, has extensive experience in all aspects of the research process, specializing in large-scale data collection for studies of postsecondary education, survey data collection, and help desk operations management.
