Ila H. Broyles, PhD, conducts health services research on the quality of care and health care outcomes for older adults. Her recent work focuses on developing and implementing measures of health care quality in value-based payment models. She has experience in implementing and evaluating integrated care models for individuals with complex health care needs, including patients with long-term care needs or near end-of-life. Her past research focuses on innovative delivery and Medicare payment models among older adults, people with dementia, Medicare post-acute care, and long-term care. 

Dr. Broyles has training in both quantitative and qualitative research, with expertise in econometrics using health care claims and other administrative data and quasi-experimental research design.
