Ila H. Broyles, PhD conducts health services research on the quality and cost outcomes for individuals with advanced illness. Her recent work focuses on developing measures of quality of care in end-of-life and post-acute care. She has experience in implementing and evaluating integrated care models for individuals with complex healthcare needs, including patients with long-term care needs or near end-of-life. Her past research focuses on innovative delivery models among older adults, Medicare post-acute care, and long-term care. Dr. Broyles has training in both quantitative and qualitative research, with expertise in econometrics using healthcare claims and other administrative data and quasi-experimental research design.
