Dustin Williams is a survey director in RTI’s Survey Research Division and has nearly 15 years of experience designing and managing complex web, mail, telephone, and mixed-mode data collection efforts. Mr. Williams has expertise with a wide range of survey populations, including law enforcement agencies, hospitals, physicians, and household members.
Through Mr. Williams’ leadership on the Survey of Campus Law Enforcement Agencies and 2020 National Electronic Health Records Survey, he has developed procedures to ensure frame quality, including both coverage and completeness of information needed to conduct data collection. As project director for the 2017-2019 National Electronic Health Records Surveys, Hospital-based Victim Services Frame Development project, and the data collection task leader for the Survey of Law Enforcement Personnel in Schools, he has managed web, mail, and phone survey development and data collection efforts involving agencies that are typically over-burdened and pose challenges to achieving high response rates. For each of these studies, he identified the right methods and adapted protocols to answer his clients’ specific research questions. This process includes designing scientifically rigorous quantitative and qualitative methodologies and collecting and delivering high-quality data.
