Christopher Siege is a computer scientist in the Research Computing Division at RTI where he serves as the program director of Systems Analysis and Programming. He has over 25 years of experience spanning a broad range of leadership, technical, and scientific roles motivated by a passion to apply innovative technology solutions that drive impactful research and science.
Mr. Siege has held senior technical leadership positions across projects for the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, and the U.S. Census Bureau.
Since joining RTI in 2009, Mr. Siege led the implementation of advanced systems for data collection and management, performing complex analyses, constructing interactive visualizations, operationalizing intricate technical scenarios, and coordinating data collection efforts that involve Federal Information Security Modernization Act moderate security controls. He is currently the Co-Director for Infrastructure Operations on the NIH Environmental Influences on Child Health Outcomes Data Analysis Center leading the design and implementation of a large hybrid Azure cloud project infrastructure.
Additionally, Mr. Siege has led strategic projects to expand computational and data science capabilities across the institute, overseeing prototype development, training, hiring, and business development within RTI.
