Brenda Fletcher

Brenda Fletcher is a research chemist in RTI International’s Analytical Sciences group. She is experienced in method development, method validation, troubleshooting, and the analysis of complex and novel samples. Since 1991, Ms. Fletcher has worked as a chemist with the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences’ National Toxicology Program to analyze biological tissue, dose formulation, and bulk chemical samples for toxicology studies. Her expertise includes mass spectrometry, gas chromatography, ultraperformance liquid chromatography (UPLC), Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectrometry, and ultraviolet/visible absorption spectrometry. Her experience also includes titration, dissolution, and physical properties analyses. She is system administrator of the FTIR and ultra-performance liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry systems, where she maintains the instruments and manages user accounts. 

Ms. Fletcher joined RTI in 1990 as a mass spectrometrist.
