Amy Maniola Allen is a justice research analyst in the Corrections and Reentry Research Program within RTI's Justice Practice Area. She serves as an analyst on several projects, including a National Institute of Justice (NIJ)-funded evaluation of the Federal Bureau of Prisons reentry programs. She is experienced in quantitative data collection and analysis, cost analysis, program evaluation, and technical report writing. Her research interests include correctional culture, correctional programs, and reentry.

Before joining RTI in 2022, Ms. Allen worked at the University of Colorado on a contract with the Colorado Department of Corrections, where she conducted correctional program evaluations and research projects on staff and inmate perceptions of cultural shifts in prisons, inmate labor programs, and the role of correctional agencies in public health.
