WRAL TechWire Ranks RTI as One of Best Places to Work in North Carolina’s Research Triangle Park

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. — RTI has been cited in the top five of best places to work in the North Carolina’s Research Triangle Park (RTP) by WRAL TechWire, an online news source for the Triangle and surrounding area.  RTI ranked number five in a field of 15 companies that are currently making news in RTP. Given that RTP is known as one of the hottest job markets for IT professionals in the nation, RTI is well positioned in this report as an employer of choice.

WRAL TechWire recently researched 15 RTP-based companies or those with large operations in the Research Triangle Park that are active and making news in the area– from hiring to layoffs – on Glassdoor, a job and recruiting web site whose company ratings are based on user-generated reviews. Glassdoor offers millions of the latest job listings, combined with a growing database of company reviews, CEO approval ratings, salary reports, interview reviews and questions, benefits reviews, office photos and more.

Using Glassdoor information, WRAL TechWire assessed what employees were saying about their supervisors and their companies. For this report, companies reviewed range from new to old, small to large, in transition to reorganizing. Criteria for this research included an overall rating system of 1 to 5 stars; employees’ approval of the CEO; and the percentage of employees who would recommend their employer to a friend.

RTI ranked number five based on the following:

  • Employee average rating: 3.9
