RTI welcomes Indian Ambassador Sandhu to Research Triangle Park headquarters

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. – RTI International welcomed His Excellency Taranjit Singh Sandhu, Ambassador of India to the United States, to its headquarters in Research Triangle Park for a visit with RTI leaders. The visit was hosted by Paul Weisenfeld, executive vice president for international development at RTI, and included a meeting during which the Ambassador and RTI staff members discussed partnerships with the Indian government, private sector, and civil society to expand innovation and improve lives and livelihoods.

“India is a leader on the world’s stage on issues ranging from climate change to public health and beyond,” Weisenfeld said. “It was an honor for RTI to host Ambassador Sandhu and discuss some of the ways we’re working with partners in India to solve critical challenges in the country, and opportunities to expand our contributions.”
