This marks the second consecutive year RTI has been a Healthiest Employers honoree
RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. — For the second straight year, RTI International, a nonprofit research institute, has earned a spot on the annual list of Healthiest Employers of the Triangle, an awards program created to honor people-first organizations that prioritize the well-being of their employees.
Honorees must demonstrate a strong commitment to workplace wellness and provide exceptional health and benefits offerings.
“We are proud and excited to have earned this recognition again,” said Chris Conway, Benefits Director at RTI. “The health and well-being of our staff is critically important, and I believe that is reflected in our policies, programs, benefits offerings and wellness-focused culture.”
RTI’s robust wellness culture is the result of a focus on staff health and work-life balance. During the pandemic, RTI has encouraged staff members to prioritize self-care.
Award applicants were evaluated across six key categories: Culture and Leadership, Foundational Components, Strategic Planning, Communication and Marketing, Programming and Interventions, and Reporting and Analytics. Completed assessments were ranked with the proprietary Healthiest Employers® Index, a 1-100 rubric for wellness programming.
