Dr. Lauren McCormack Invited to Serve on Opioid Advisory Group for the National Association of Attorneys General

Lauren McCormack, PhD, MSPH, Division Vice President of Public Health Research at RTI International, was recently invited to join a Curriculum Advisory Group with the National Association of Attorneys General (NAAG) focused on the opioid epidemic.

Utilizing the input of experts from various fields, the Advisory Group will collaborate to identify specific subject areas related to the opioid epidemic that need public education. NAAG and their partners will then create an online education and public awareness campaign targeted at the legal and medical communities, law enforcement, and the general public to inform them about these issues.

Dr. McCormack will bring RTI’s extensive experience, as well as her own expertise, in opioid research, public health communication and evaluation to support the efforts of this project.
