Abstract
The purpose of this chapter is to explore our experiences implementing Dalmau and Guðjónsdóttir’s (2002) Professional Working Theory (PWT) with graduate students in the USA and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). We believe that the PWT provides an excellent framework for helping pre-service and inservice teachers consider the ways that educational theories are embedded in their daily instructional practices.
