Abstract

Apparatus for encoding and decoding stimuli using magnetic tape is described. The decoder is a frequency specific audio switch constructed from a five channel resonant reed relay; the encoder is a tape recorder. This apparatus allows the advantages of magnetic tape yet is inexpensive to construct.
