High-efficiency tandem solar cells on single- and poly-crystalline substrates
This paper will review and assess the current status of the development of tandem solar cells for space and terrestrial applications. We will also introduce and present results on a new In0.49Ga0.51P / GaAs tandem cell grown and fabricated on a low-cost, polycrystalline Ge substrate.
