Spin wave excitations in thin amorphous Gd---Co---Mo films deposited by r.f. sputtering were studied in order to determine the exchange energy constant. The spin wave resonance spectra were taken at temperatures ranging from 4 to 300 K which allowed us to find the temperature dependence of the exchange energy constant for Gd---Co---Mo films.
