A victim-centered approach prioritizes the needs, safety, and autonomy of individuals who have experienced crime or harm. It emphasizes empathy, confidentiality, informed choice, and access to supportive services. RTI promotes victim-centered practices in its work with justice agencies, social service providers, and community organizations.
