Vector-Borne Disease

A vector-borne disease is an illness transmitted to humans by vectors such as mosquitoes, ticks, or fleas. Examples include malaria, dengue, Lyme disease, and West Nile virus. RTI conducts research on vector ecology, disease transmission, and prevention strategies to help reduce the burden of these diseases globally.
