Statistical Significance

Statistical significance indicates whether an observed effect or relationship is unlikely to have occurred by chance alone. Researchers typically use p-values or confidence intervals to determine significance. A statistically significant finding suggests that the result is meaningful from a statistical standpoint, although RTI also considers effect sizes and practical relevance when interpreting results.
