Predictive analytics uses statistical models and machine learning techniques to analyze current and historical data in order to forecast future outcomes. Applications include predicting disease outbreaks, identifying at-risk populations, and forecasting economic trends. RTI uses predictive analytics to support decision making in health, education, environment, and international development.
