Institutional Review Board (IRB)

An Institutional Review Board is a committee that reviews research involving human participants to ensure that it meets ethical and regulatory standards. The IRB assesses study protocols, informed consent procedures, data protections, and potential risks. RTI maintains its own IRB to oversee research activities and safeguard the rights and welfare of study participants.
