Cognitive Interviewing

Cognitive interviewing is a qualitative method used to test and refine survey questions. Participants are asked to describe how they interpret questions, retrieve information, and choose responses. RTI uses cognitive interviewing to identify question wording problems and ensure that survey instruments collect accurate and reliable data.
