Carbon Sequestration

Carbon sequestration refers to the capture and long-term storage of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. It can occur naturally through forests, soils, and oceans, or through engineered systems such as direct air capture and geological storage. RTI evaluates carbon sequestration technologies and natural climate solutions to support climate mitigation goals.
