Behavioral Economics

Behavioral economics studies how psychological, social, and cognitive factors influence economic decision making. Instead of assuming that people always make rational choices, behavioral economics examines how real-world behaviors are shaped by habits, biases, emotions, and context. RTI applies behavioral economics to improve program design, evaluate interventions, and support policies that encourage better health, financial, and social outcomes.
