Mr. Ramto has over 25 years of experience implementing development projects across multiple sectors—including livelihoods, food security and agriculture; WASH; health and nutrition; disaster and emergency response; resilience and recovery; governance, and infrastructure—for the U.S. Agency for International Development, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the U.K.’s Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office, the Danish International Development Agency, the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), and KfW Bank. He has served on several complex projects in different capacities including as Chief of Party, Deputy Chief of Party, Acting Country Director, among others. 

At RTI, Mr. Ramto is the Deputy Chief of Party for the Feed the Future Food Security, Nutrition and Resilience (FSNR) Activity. FSNR is a five-year program (2023–2028) that is helping Liberian farming communities produce, sell, and consume more nutritious, high-value agricultural commodities. He brings extensive knowledge of the Liberian context after working as Deputy Chief of Party on the USAID Liberia Agriculture Upgrading Nutrition and Child Health, the USAID Ebola Recovery and Resilience Program, and the USAID Liberia Agribusiness Development Activity. 

Mr. Ramto has lectured on business and management and managed graduate students at the Uganda Management Institute in Kampala. He is fluent in Luo, has professional proficiency in English, and a basic understanding of Swahili and Arabic.
