Saule Khamzina has over 25 years of experience in assessment, curriculum development, project management, and teaching experience in the education sector in Central Asia. She has supported and managed programs in Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan for the U.S. Agency for International Development, the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank, the European Union.
She currently serves as the Deputy Chief of Party of the Okuu! Keremet (“Learning is Awesome”) project, funded by USAID and implemented by RTI, in the Kyrgyz Republic. She serves as the lead representative to the Ministry of Education and Sports (MOES), translating the technical support provided by the project into capacity building of the MOES counterparts.
She has a master’s degree in Education (Med) and is fluent in Russian, Kyrgyz and English.
