Sarah Elaine Arnold is a research programmer analyst in RTI’s Center for the Health of Populations. She has 12 years of experience in data management, statistical programming, and public health research. Her expertise includes developing instruments for primary data collection and analysis of extensive survey and claims datasets, including Medicare and Medicaid. In addition, Ms. Arnold constructs analytic datasets and performs statistical analyses using SAS and Stata.
Ms. Arnold has served as Lead Programmer for the State Innovation Models, Round 2 (SIM 2) Initiative, and the Skilled Nursing Facility Value-Based Purchasing Program. She collaborates with project leaders and a team of programmers in data management and file construction. Ms. Arnold is also experienced in working with disparate state Medicaid claims data, all-payer claims Databases, and claims data sets in the Chronic Conditions Warehouse to evaluate health care transformation efforts.
