Peter Collier currently serves as Chief of Party for USAID Wildlife Asia, and has 20 years of international development experience leading complex, regional initiatives covering Asia Pacific, including U.S. Support to the Coral Triangle Initiative, U.S. Support to the Indian Ocean Tsunami Warning System, and USAID’s Program for Enhancement of Emergency Response. He has coordinated large-scale capacity strengthening initiatives for United Nation’s disaster management programs across Asia Pacific, and has extensive experience working with senior government officials, coordinating intergovernmental and multilateral bodies in regional governance and policy reform. Mr. Collier is fluent in Mandarin Chinese, Woleaian, Albanian, Macedonian, and Spanish.
