Paul Jeffery

Paul Jeffery joined RTI in July 2023 as the Director of the Environment team within the International Development Group. In this capacity, Mr. Jeffery performs management, leadership, and growth strategies across RTI’s biodiversity, climate change, conservation, environmental crime, and economic growth programming.

Prior to joining RTI, Mr. Jeffery worked at DAI as Director, Asia Pacific region (2020–2023) providing leadership and technical oversight for USAID funded environmental projects in the Philippines, Vietnam, and Indonesia, and Chief of Party for the USAID Indonesia flagship Climate Adaptation and Resilience project (2016–2020), building institutional and community resilience to the impacts of climate and weather-related hazards.

Prior to joining DAI, Mr. Jeffery spent 12 years working at Mercy Corps in various positions, including as Country Director in Indonesia and in Timor-Leste.  Mr. Jeffery started out his international career in 1999 as a VSO Volunteer in West Timor, Indonesia, and is fluent in Bahasa Indonesia.
