Margaux Cameron is an education analyst with RTI’s Center for Education Survey Research and Analysis, where she focuses on postsecondary education surveys for the Institute of Education Sciences at the U.S. Department of Education—primarily on the National Postsecondary Student Aid Study. She specializes in derivation of variables and the collection of administrative data to study how students and their families pay for college. Ms. Cameron is an expert in working with large-scale education survey data, administrative data collection and management, data quality checks and quality control, and variable specification and construction.
Prior to joining RTI, Ms. Cameron worked in educational content development and marketing for 5 years before attaining her master’s degree at Vanderbilt University. While at Vanderbilt, she focused on research methodologies, state education policy, the bridge between secondary and postsecondary education, and sex education research.
