Lauryn Isaacs Marcus leads communications for the International Development Group’s Learning, Energy, and Environment for Development (LEED) division. Her work raises the profile of RTI’s experts in LEED’s focus areas, and includes developing content for print and Web marketing materials, supporting global events, and collaborating with project teams and corporate communications. She is an expert in communications strategy and branding for U.S. Agency for International Development projects, and has played a key role in the Power Africa Off-grid Project and USAID Promoting Tanzania’s Environment, Conservation, and Tourism (PROTECT) project. Her special interests include gender and climate change.
Ms. Isaacs Marcus joined RTI in 2017. Previously, she held international communications roles at Abt Associates, Crown Agents USA, ADCI/VOCA, and the Middle East Media Research Institute. She has worked in Israel, Nigeria, Tanzania, and Thailand; studied in China, Czech Republic, Fiji, Israel, Jordan, Martinique, Poland, South Africa, and the West Bank; and speaks advanced French and basic Arabic and Hebrew.
