Dr. Laurie Cluff is an industrial/organizational psychologist with more than 15 years of experience in workplace health and workforce research. She has evaluated interventions, provided technical assistance, and developed targeted screening tools directed at preventing workplace prescription drug and other substance abuse.
Dr. Cluff is currently leading a national survey of U.S. worksites’ health promotion programs and practices, sponsored by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Her teams are also evaluating two CDC worksite health promotion demonstration programs: the National Healthy Worksite Program and Work@Health®.
She has a long-standing role as the data analysis leader for the Department of Labor’s Occupation Information Network (O*NET), providing a unique perspective on the work requirements and worker characteristics for occupations across the U.S. workforce.
