Laura Burns Fritch is a survey methodologist at RTI. She develops and tests web, CATI, CAPI, paper and pencil, and multimodal surveys for large national data collections. These education and workforce surveys are for diverse populations, including doctorate recipients, postsecondary institution administrative personnel, teachers, principals, counselors, and high school students and their parents. She has managed cognitive tests related to questions about sexual orientation and gender identity (SOGI) as well as other topics.

Ms. Fritch joined RTI in 2000. Currently, she works on multiple projects, including the High School and Beyond, Survey of Earned Doctorates, Early Career Doctorates Survey, and Survey of Graduate Students and Postdoctorates in Science and Engineering. Some of her previous projects are the Education Longitudinal Study of 2002 and the High School Longitudinal Study of 2009.
