Jui Shah provides vision and technical direction for Inform Asia: USAID’s Health Research Program, which supports malaria elimination efforts in Thailand and Laos. In her extensive career in malaria surveillance and monitoring, and evaluation, Ms. Shah has helped countries transform their routine malaria data into strategic information for evidence-based advocacy and policy. She works with government counterparts, research institutes, implementing partners and other stakeholders to accelerate malaria elimination across the Greater Mekong Subregion.
Ms. Shah joined RTI in 2019. She previously worked on the USAID-funded MEASURE Evaluation project, which focused on strengthening malaria data collection, analysis, and use across PMI priority countries in sub-Saharan Africa. She is a member of the Delta Omega Honorary Society in Public Health and the Roll Back Malaria Surveillance, Monitoring & Evaluation Reference Group. She is proficient in Stata data analysis software, and speaks fluent English and Spanish and beginner-level Thai.
