Jessica Robles specializes in developmental, participatory, and utilization-focused evaluations of programs for underrepresented and at-risk students at the K-12 and postsecondary levels. A skilled communicator, she is dedicated to helping clients understand and act upon data, always working to ensure that our research values culture and context.
Currently, Dr. Robles is directing an evaluation of the Puget Sound Educational District’s Race to the Top award, an effort to close achievement and opportunity gaps in seven south Seattle and south King County school districts. She is also evaluating the evaluation of the STEM Equity Pipeline Project, which aims to support underrepresented groups in programs that lead to high-wage, high-demand careers. She directed the Ready to Work program in Seattle, a pathway to jobs and training for immigrants and refugees who are learning English.
Dr. Robles joined RTI in 2013 with the acquisition of MPR Associates. Her background includes positions in research and program evaluation for a variety of education enterprises, as well as classroom teaching experience in English as a foreign language. She is a member of the American Educational Research Association and the American Evaluation Association.
