Jeremy Lakin is a Climate Resilient WASH Specialist, supporting new business efforts in areas of water security, sanitation, and hygiene (WSSH), climate change adaptation, and resilience. In addition, he contributes to thought leadership efforts and provides technical and project management support.

Prior to joining RTI, Mr. Lakin served as Deputy Project Manager for the Clean Cities, Blue Ocean Project (CCBO), USAID’s flagship solid waste management project, and the Conservation through Economic Empowerment in the Republic of Congo (CEERC) Activity. Mr. Lakin has also managed and provided technical support to a portfolio of USAID-funded water security and resilience programs across Africa and South Asia.

Mr. Lakin previously lived in South Africa developing ICT-based monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) systems for WASH interventions with See/Saw and in Ghana supporting rural water treatment enterprises with Saha Global. In addition, he has consulted for the United Nations Development Programme and the World Bank in Tanzania. Mr. Lakin is fluent in French and Spanish and proficient in Portuguese.
