Jennifer Wine directs RTI’s cross-sectional and longitudinal studies of postsecondary education, managing all administrative and technical aspects of large-scale, multi-mode surveys and collections of institution records, including transcripts. She has an academic background in psychology.
Dr. Wine leads RTI’s work on the National Postsecondary Student Aid Study (NPSAS), the Beginning Postsecondary Students Longitudinal Study (BPS), and the Baccalaureate and Beyond Longitudinal Study (B&B). These three projects, all funded by the National Center for Education Statistics, represent efforts to track the characteristics and academic experiences of students pursuing a diverse array of paths through postsecondary education in the United States.
Dr. Wine joined RTI in 1990. Her background also includes work in alumni surveys and career development and placement for college graduates. She is a member of the American Association for Public Opinion Research.
