Jason P.H. Jones is a resource economist in the Environmental, Technology, and Energy Economics department at RTI International. In this capacity, he provides analytical solutions and support services for clients confronting advanced resource-based problems. Dr. Jones also synthesizes mathematical model development and applied economic analysis in order to best inform the agricultural, energy, and environmental policies of the U.S. federal government.
Dr. Jones has expertise in a variety of areas, including applied econometrics and simulation, dynamic optimization, statistics, mathematical economics, regulations, international trade, and development. He is also skilled at mathematical systems modeling, commodity market analysis, advanced ag-marketing, risk management, and advanced macro- and micro-economics, and has in-depth policy and economic knowledge about North American livestock, protein, and crop markets.
