Gerald Lindo is a Research Energy Engineer in RTI International’s International Development Group. Mr. Lindo has 16 years of experience in bioenergy research, energy engineering, energy policy, climate policy, and program management.

Mr. Lindo currently serves as Deputy Chief of Party for the Caribbean Energy Sector Reform Project, funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). He coordinates the Project’s efforts to bolster the performance and resilience of energy systems in the member states of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM).

Before joining RTI, Mr. Lindo served in senior technical roles with the Government of Jamaica, project management and environmental compliance roles with USAID, and in an advisory role with an institution of CARICOM.

He is a member of the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers, the Association of Energy Engineers, the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, and the Jamaica Society of Energy Engineers.
