Franziska Rokoske focuses on improving the quality of care delivered to patients with advanced illness and those nearing end of life or receiving hospice care. Combining her clinical background in geriatric physical therapy with health services and policy research, she implements and evaluates federally and state-funded projects and initiatives to improve health care. For nearly two decades she has led or participated in studies for CMS and other federal and state agencies.  

In addition, she serves as a core RTI researcher for the Consortium for Implementation Science, a joint venture between RTI and UNC-Chapel Hill. Ms. Rokoske has presented her work at national conferences and published her work in Journal of Pain and Symptom Management, Journal of Palliative Medicine, American Journal of Medical Quality, Medscape Journal of Medicine, and Gerontologist
