Erica Kocher is a member of RTI’s Center for Global Non-communicable Diseases (NCDs), where she contributes to the design, analysis, and evaluation of health programs and policies to address NCDs in low- and middle-income countries. Recently her work has focused on obesity prevention, adolescent health promotion, and capacity building for NCD programming. Prior to joining RTI, Ms. Kocher worked as a Research Assistant at the Yale School of Public Health, where she researched causes of and interventions for obesity and noncommunicable diseases in Samoa and American Samoa. In this role she designed and implemented health intervention studies for physical activity, weight monitoring, and group prenatal care.
