Elizabeth Eckert specializes in food security and agricultural value chain development, particularly in international settings. With more than 10 years in the sector, she focuses on fostering inclusive market systems while addressing behavior change, technology adoption, innovation, local capacity building, and monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEAL).
She is currently the project director for monitoring and evaluation of the Rockefeller Foundation’s Yieldwise initiative, which is aimed at reducing post-harvest loss in Sub-Saharan Africa. She also supports developing RTI’s food and agriculture portfolio through innovative research and business development.
Ms. Eckert joined RTI in 2014. She has also served in a variety of roles in international agricultural and economic development for SNV USA ACDI/VOCA, PADCO, and the Louis Berger Group. Her international experience includes field work in the Caribbean, East Africa, the Middle East and North Africa, South Asia, and Southeast Asia.
