Elena Bravo-Taylor conducts research on health economics and policy for our Health Care Financing and Payment program. She uses both quantitative and qualitative methods to analyze the economic benefits of public programs and policies, particularly Medicare.
Since joining RTI in 2016, Ms. Bravo-Taylor has contributed to key projects for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. She currently serves as an analyst for a contract to strengthen primary care through alternative payment models and other innovative practices. She has also worked on a pay-for-reporting and pay-for-performance system for accountable care organizations serving Medicare fee-for-service beneficiaries.
