Dr. Krebs is an expert in survey design and implementation and disseminating research for impact on policy and practice.

Currently, Dr. Krebs works on the Campus Climate Survey Design and Testing Study with the Bureau of Justice Statistics (BJS) and the Department of Education. The goal of the project is to develop a campus climate survey that will enable all postsecondary institutions to successfully collect the data they need to understand the magnitude and nature of the types of interpersonal victimization students’ experience. These data will inform efforts to improve the content, timing, and delivery of prevention and policy responses designed to reduce interpersonal victimization among all students and to better address their service-related needs, thereby improving public safety and public health.

In addition to his work, Dr. Krebs holds a professional membership at the American Society of Criminology.
