Brygida Berse is an expert in health care quality with an academic background in neuroscience and pathology. She joined RTI in 2021 after more than 20 years of teaching and research at Harvard Medical School and Boston University School of Medicine.

Dr. Berse currently serves as co-lead for operations support on Primary Care First, a project focused on reducing Medicare spending by preventing avoidable inpatient hospital admissions and improving quality and access to care. She brings in experience from several primary care models to respond to inquiries around model policies and procedures, and conducts qualitative analyses of model data.
