Ms. Arpita Sinha has more than a decade of experience spanning international leveraged finance, business origination, advisory, finance and strategy consulting, impact investing, and entrepreneurship along with experience with rural communities, livelihood generation, and disaster management programs.
Prior to joining RTI, Ms. Sinha spent seven years in investment banking delivering cross-produce structured solutions. As a Vice President in the Debt Finance division of Barclays, London, she led big-ticket transactions with private equity firms and mid- to large-cap global corporate clients across a variety of sectors. Having completed an MBA from Oxford University specializing in finance, social entrepreneurship, and impact investing, she founded an India-based venture—ARION, funded by Oxford and Skoll—with an aim to drive social sector accountability through digitization. Ms. Sinha has also held and continues to hold independent financial advisory roles and is involved in a social impact venture focused on livelihood generation and food security in Bihar.
As the lead for the Strategy, Growth, and Alliances division, Ms. Sinha has a holistic mandate to strategically position RTI’s business in India, facilitate in-country collaborations and new client acquisition, streamline business development processes, explore avenues of growth, and lay the foundations for a consistent yet differentiated go-to-market approach for RTI India.
