Ariane Noar is a research social scientist in the Center for Courts and Corrections at RTI where she specializes in research and programming on violent extremism. She is experienced in designing and facilitating trainings and workshops, designing and implementing program evaluations for trauma-informed research, and conducting cognitive interviews and observational studies. As part of her current research, Ms. Noar conducts multisite evaluations of countering violent extremism programs funded by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. In addition, her work seeks to identify best practices in global terrorism prevention programs focused on community engagement and deradicalization. Ms. Noar is proficient in Arabic, French, and Spanish.
